Printer Setup
Labelscape uses printers already set up for your device. If the printer is supported by your device, you should be able to use it for Labelscape.
Android Devices
Android devices utilize a printer service to handle printing. As of Android 8.0 (Oreo), most devices come with a default print service pre-installed. The default print service can typically find printers connected to your Wi-Fi network.
- Ensure that your Android device and your printer are both powered on and connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
- On your Android Device, open Settings and then search for Printing
- Tap Printing.
- Tap Default Print Service
- Find and set up your printer.
Additional print services such as Google Cloud Print or printer-specific services can be installed. Consult the documentation for the print service you are using.
Apple Devices
Apple devices utilize AirPrint to print from supported printers. To print from Labelscape with a printer that support AirPrint, set up the printer and device to work with AirPrint.
If your printer is not AirPrint supported but is connected to Wi-Fi, you may be able to use the printer by installing an App specific to the printer manufacturer. Check the website for your printer to find out if Wi-Fi printing from an Apple device is supported.
